Cookie Policy
Effective date: 28.02.2025
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies letspirit.com uses, why, and how you can control them. It follows the EU ePrivacy rules as applied in Denmark (the Danish Cookie Order) and the GDPR. For everything else about your personal data, see the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others remember your preferences or measure how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as local storage or scripts loaded from other services, are treated the same way here.
2. Your choice
When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose by category. Strictly necessary cookies are always active, because the website cannot work without them. All other cookies are only placed after you consent. Rejecting is as easy as accepting, and the website remains fully usable either way.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time: Change my cookie settings.
3. Cookies used on this website
| Cookie / service | Provider | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cookieyes-consent | CookieYes (letspirit.com) | Remembers your cookie choices so the banner does not reappear | Strictly necessary | 1 year |
| wordpress_test_cookie, wp-settings-* | WordPress (letspirit.com) | Checks that cookies work; stores settings for logged-in site editors only | Strictly necessary | Session / 1 year |
| comment_author_* | WordPress (letspirit.com) | Remembers your name and email for your next comment, only if you tick the box under the comment form | Functional | 1 year |
| Sign-up forms | MailerLite | Make newsletter and course sign-up forms work and prevent spam | Strictly necessary | Session / up to 1 year |
The live list below is generated automatically by the cookie banner’s regular scan of the website, so it always shows the cookies currently found:
I do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If I ever add analytics or marketing tools, they will only run after your consent and will be listed here first.
4. Third-party services
Some links open other services that set their own cookies under their own policies, for example Calendly when you book a session, YouTube when you watch my videos, and Etsy or a payment page when you buy. Please see their cookie policies for details.
The website also loads fonts from Google Fonts. This does not set cookies, but your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. See the Privacy Policy, section 5.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the website from working. Guides: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
